LEGAL DISCLAIMER regarding therapy

 Adams Family Wellness utilizes methods of talk therapy that are holistic in nature with a direct focus on spirituality and mindfulness.  Such methods are not clinical by design nor practice and therefore, not regulated nor licensed by the state of South Carolina.  Adams Family Wellness is not nor do we claim to be a professional counseling practice as described by the SC Division of Professional & Occupational Licensing.  As such, our services are not covered by insurance.  For this reason, you will find our rates to be comparable to the average co-pay for similar professional services.  By scheduling an appointment, you  acknowledge the difference between the services we provide and those of licensed professional counselors and clinical therapists. 

• Any session that is cancelled by the client within 24hrs of the appointment time will incur a $10 cancellation fee. 
• All no-shows will be invoiced at full rate. A session is deemed “no-show” at the 15 min mark following its scheduled time. 
• Any cancellation initiated by AFW within the 24hr window will result in a $10 discount to the client on the rescheduled appointment.
